I've payed for an account and I logged in, but the when I go to another page, why does it say I am not logged in?
This website uses a cookie stored by your browser to remember that you are logged in as you move from page to page within the site. Most likely your browser or security software is not accepting the cookie (the cookie is blocked) so that when you go to another page, the site doesn't remember that you are logged in. You must alter your browser or security settings to allow the cookie from this site or you will be unable to use the site. The cookie expires each day so you will need to login the first time you use the site for the day. [return]

This site uses a cookie to remember that you are logged in as you move from page to page. You must accept the cookie in order to use the site. There is NO security risk to your computer or your personal information by accepting this cookie.[return]

Many of the lessons on this site require plug-ins to make them work. This site requires the plug-ins for Shockwave, Flash, and Quicktime. You will need to run a check to test your computer for the required plug-ins.     [return]

After you login, click on "My Account" in the upper right corner of the page. On the My Account page you will find the links to download the workbook(s) or access any of the other features of your account. [return]

You should send me an email (be sure to include your name) and ask me to update your account to reflect your old purchase. [return]

No, the new purchase of 12 months is added to however many months you have remaining on your account. The only exception to this is if you own a single subscription and then purchase a group subscription when you are past the 30 day upgrade window. [return]
Do I have to create a new username and password every time I renew my subscription?
No, you can keep your Owner username and password as long as you like. Unless there has been a security breech such as one of your students ending up getting your owner username and password. If you have a group subscription, you will have to change the group username and password (the one you create to give to your students..NEVER give them yours) once every 12 months. [return]

Login, then click on "My Account". You can change all of your account details from that page.[return]
I forgot my username and password, what should I do?
Click on the link in the upper right corner of the page. You will then be asked to enter the email address that is on file for your account. If you enter the email address on file with the system, it will send you your username and password by email. (These sometimes end up getting eaten by your spam filter, so if you don't receive an email check wherever your mail system sends suspected spam.) [return]
The site tells me to go to "My Account" but I do not see "My Account"?
You are probably logged in as a group account (your student login) which does not have access to "My Account" because you don't want students messing with your account. You need to logout and then log in using your owner account. If you don't remember your username and password for your owner account, click the link for "I forgot my username or password" then enter your email address that is on file with the account. The system will email you the Owner username and password. [return]
I'm a Teacher, can I have a free trial?
Free trials are done by way of a 15-day money back guarantee on group subscriptions and workbook purchases. If within 15 days of your purchase you decide that the group subscription or the workbook is not the right fit for your students, simply email me and ask for your money back. Your payment will be refunded in full.

Sorry. Free trials are not available to help you with that important test tomorrow or the killer homework you are having trouble with.

What choices do I have in paying for a purchase?
You can pay using any major credit card or PayPal account, which will give you access to your purchase within minutes, or you can send a check which can take up to a week or two before you have access to your purchase. [return]
What is PayPal and is it safe?
Paypal is a secure method of paying with a credit card over the internet. It is the payment system behind eBay. It has many levels of security and is likely the safest method of money transfer on the internet. I do not see your credit card information, that is kept between you and Paypal. Your Paypal account information (if you choose to set one up - not required in USA) is not the same as your ScienceJoyWagon account information. They are two completely separate accounts. [return]
Can I send a school Purchase Order?
No. Schools in general have proven to be notoriously delinquent when it comes to sending actual payments on time. As a teacher, I do not have the time to track down unpaid purchase orders and jump through the hoops required by many school districts. Please pay using a credit card or have your school send a check. [return]
How can I pay by check?
If you are a new user, use the "Join" page to create your order (existing account owners go to "My Account"). When you get to the step where you are asked to verify that your order information is correct, print the page out and mail it with your check to address on the page. [return]
If I pay online with my credit card, how long after I pay can I start using what I purchased?
Typically PayPal processes payments and notifies this website within 10 minutes of the time you complete the payment on PayPal's site. If you complete your payment, paypal will send you a receipt for your payment by email. If you don't receive a receipt from PayPal it is possible that your payment was not completed, or that your spam filter ate PayPal's email. PayPal will only notify Science Joy Wagon of "completed" payments. If for some reason your credit card was declined, Science Joy Wagon will not have been notified, but since it was not notified of completion, your account will be incomplete. [return]
I want to renew my subscription, how do I renew?
In order to renew your subscription, you need to login to the website with your Owner Account and then click "My Account" in the upper right corner of the screen. Then proceed with the options for extending your subscription. Once payment is made, 365 days will be added to your current subscription. [return]
 

Group Subscription Answers

I purchased a group subscription, how do I create the username and password for the group?
Login with your Owner username and password and then click on "My Account" in the upper right corner. From the My Account page you can create your Group username and password. This Group user name and password is what you should give to your students and any other teachers in your school (not district) that are using it. NEVER give you Owner account information to anyone else. [return]

You (the current owner) should email Steve Wirt with your name and ask that your account be converted to another owner. Be sure to provide the name and email address of the new owner. [return]

No, never give your Owner account information to anyone else (trust me, it will only lead to problems later on). Give them the same Group account information that you created for your students. [return]
Do students use the same username and password I do?
NO. Never give them your Owner account info. Login then go to "My Account" and set up the group name, username and password. Then give them that. Never give your Owner account info to anyone. [return]
Why do I have to change the Group username and password at least every 12 months?
To prevent unauthorized access by people who are no longer your students, you are required to change your Group username and password at least once every 12 months. You can change it more often if you prefer, but the system will automatically shutdown the group access if the group username and password has not been changed in 12 months. Don't worry, the system will start giving you and your group warnings before the change is required.
Suggestion:
Change your group account info at the beginning of each school year. That way students won't need to learn new passwords part way through the year. [return]
If I purchase a single-user subscription can I upgrade it to a group account later?
Yes, you can upgrade at a reduced price within 30 days of purchasing the single user subscription. Beyond 30 days you will need to pay full price for a Group subscription and any time remaining on your single user subscription will be lost. [return]
